REMAIN VOTER UNABLE TO COMPREHEND THAT OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES DIFFER FROM HERS
“My life is great, I’m sure people outside London want to live like me” says conceited cow
A Richmond-upon-Thames resident is completely unable to comprehend that life outside the capital might be different to hers it emerged yesterday. After the historic vote to leave the EU and all that it entails, Lucy Dong reflects the feelings of millions of London residents in wanting to preserve her metropolitan lifestyle whilst being completely unaware of what other people’s lives are actually like.
“I just can’t get my head around it” said Lucy, “I have this great cosmopolitan life in the capital which is rich and varied in its day-to-day culture, surely it’s the same everywhere? Not that I care of course. I have an exciting job and there are lots of opportunities in London. I enjoy the social scene and my life is great, I’m sure people outside London want to live like me.”
However, Lucy admits she doesn’t really know what goes on outside the capital.
“I’ve never been further north than Islington to be honest so I’ve no real idea what life is like in other parts of the UK but my life is great. I did get taken by an ex-boyfriend to Hastings once but it didn’t look very nice so we came home.”
“Surely if other people’s lives aren’t as great as mine they must want them to be, so why didn’t we all vote to stay in?”
