LOCAL ROLLER SKATING RINK BEST PLACE TO TEST FOR EARLY SIGNS OF MID LIFE CRISIS
Middle aged men use facilities to prove they’ve ‘still got it’
SCIENTISTS HAVE REVEALED that local roller skating and ice skating rinks are the perfect testing ground for signs of mid-life crisis.
A number of middle aged men have been known to use these facilities to prove ‘they’ve still got it’, performing tricks and throwing shapes to the old skool tunes blasted through the sound system.
“When we see these gentlemen, always gentlemen, dressed as they would have done in the 1980's skating backwards in time to hip-hop music, what we are really seeing is someone with no real understanding of their purpose in life. Or friends,” says Claus Bucketbiff of the Danish Institute.
“There is a classic misunderstanding from the men involved. Showing off their little stunts and jumping over a stricken child at speed. They believe these things make them look cool when of course they look like utter bell ends.”
Research shows that these early signs are often just the start and can lead to much more severe symptoms.
“Many have already had one ear pierced. It's only a short time before they're trading in the kid's trust fund for a sports car and trying it on with the au pair.”
