HEAD OF M&S DESIGN RECOMMENDS PUTTING THINGS YOU OWN ON A SURFACE IN GROUNDBREAKING TREND
Shoppers admit they’re struggling to keep up with design whirlwind
MARIE JONES, Head of Design at M&S has been busy revolutionising home design with a brand new groundbreaking trend which encourages style conscious fashionistas to show off their ‘stuff’ by placing it on a vacant ‘surface’.
“The 3D display is the ideal way to add decoration to your home,” she explains.
“Just take a collection of pieces you love and arrange them on a shelf, or maybe a chest of drawers. Choose a vase, picture frames, a lamp or a trinket box. It's perfect for trying out this new trend and treating yourself to some new pieces. I've got my eye on a Foxhunt table lamp that’s come from an old Berni Inn for my sideboard at home,”
“Okay, that’s nearly 40 seconds consultancy so that’ll be £24,000 please. Thanks, bye."
Confused shoppers have admitted it’s difficult to keep up with such whirlwind trends.
“I can’t keep up with these whirlwind trends,” admits Sarah from Clayhorne, “I suppose it’s what we should expect after Brexit.”
Jones’ eye for design has sparked rumours for forthcoming trends in 2017 with the application of paint or wallpaper onto walls, opening doors and chairs that allow you to sit down all rumoured to form part of exciting new trends for next year.
