FRANTIC SEARCH FOR ‘ONE WITH DARK HAIR’ TO COMPLETE BROS REUNION
“I can’t remember his name and neither can Luke,” admits Matt
1980’s POP SENSATIONS Matt and Luke Goss have announced they’re reforming their chart topping band ‘Bros’ for a 30th anniversary concert next year. However, a frantic search has started to uncover the whereabouts of the creative driving force behind the band, that bassist with the dark hair, to complete the line-up.
“I can’t remember his name and neither can Luke,” admits Matt. “I think it might have started with a C or maybe a G? Gary something?”
“We said it was a mistake having someone with dark hair in the band, we were both blonde you see, and it confused the hell out of us. Blonde was are thing right?”
“Yeah, blonde was our gig man,” chimes in Luke. “That’s what the chicks went crazy for. And the great tunes. The tunes were ace. We rivalled the Beatles for creative output with gems like ‘I owe you nothing’ and ‘When will I be famous?’
When pressed on the reasons behind the sudden reunion, Matt admits that life in 2016 is taking its toll and they were keen for a new direction.
Matt rages, “We feel that now is the right time for us. I mean, have you seen what they’re charging for 20 Lambert and Butler’s these days, it’s a scandal!”
“The price of living is way out of control, a bag of frozen chicken nuggets is nearly 3 quid at Farm Foods. We thought we’d get back on the road and try and cadge some free sandwiches on the riders. And besides, Luke’s not been laid in nearly 4 years.”
