CORBYN SEES OFF LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE IN NIGHT OF THE LONG CARDIGANS
Eagle chooses cyanide over public show trial after visit from John 'The boatman' McDonnell
Generalissimo Jeremy Corbyn continues to dominate his party like a, err, one party state.
The iron man of British politics ruthlessly dismissed one of his challengers when Angela Eagle chose to take the cyanide pill in the back of the Daimler, rather than the full ignominy of a public show trial followed by painful execution.
Eagle was informed in no uncertain terms that her next seat would be Hull East, a fate Corbyn’s former ally simply could not contemplate.
When asked what had become of the former shadow cabinet mainstay, Internal security chief John 'The boatman' McDonnell, sinisterly whispered, "I have never heard of such a person".
Remaining challenger, what's his name, oh go on you know, the bloke no one had heard of till all this, oh that's going to annoy me, well him anyway, is reported to have sent his family out of the country and is making plans to escape should his bid collapse also. Which is becoming more likely in the face of breaking news that a compromising set of photos is to be released taken when he was young and needed the money.
Remember general Jez is watching you....
