CAMERON – I REGRET PROMISING TO PAINT NEIGHBOUR'S FENCE
Outgoing PM says he never expected to have to do it
David Cameron says he now regrets promising to paint his neighbour’s fence after his neighbour made him do it.
"I wish I'd never said it now," said the outgoing Prime Minister, "I only said I'd help out because I needed to borrow his lawnmower at the time. It's a choice that's come back to haunt me big time but I needed to cut the grass at all costs and this promise just tumbled out of my mouth. At no time did I ever expect to have to do it."
Cameron's neighbour in Notting Hill, Nigel Nobspit said, "I've not let the slimy bugger wriggle off the hook with that one. He made his promise and I've made him stick to it."
