ARTWORK DEFINITELY BANKSY ORIGINAL CLAIMS SWANSEA RESIDENT
Gable end now worth £2M says Dave
Dave Flange from Swansea has got the art world in a lather after he discovered an original Banksy on his gable end this week.
"I don't know how he managed it but I've definitely been 'Banksied'" said the unemployed 48 year old.
"I went to bed after my usual four cans of Tenants on Tuesday night and by the time I'd got up on Wednesday dinner time, he'd left a priceless piece of artwork on the side of my house. Well I say priceless, I reckon it's worth £2 million of anyone's money."
Doubts originally surfaced as to the authenticity of the work but reknowned art critic Giles Weapon gave the piece his approval saying, "This is quite obviously an original piece."
"The mispelling of the word imbred underscores Banksy's wonderful post modernism flair and is a continuation of his recent work discovered in Merseyside which we've entitled "Sheila sucks cocks for ciggies."
